Auditions & Callbacks

  • M.A.K.E Theatre pursues an educational process and we believe the opportunity for growth through audition participation is an integral part of the overall experience. We are here to support each student as they learn to represent their work and grow in comfort.
  • Auditioning for a show is making a commitment to the show, the cast, and the experience.
  • After reviewing the production information, including tentative rehearsal dates, technical rehearsal dates, and performance dates as well as the title of the production, if the production is a good fit for your family you will need to complete a M.A.K.E. Theatre Audition Form for each student that will be participating. The Audition Form will be available on the production information page.
  • In-Person Group Auditions will be conducted in groups during a 3 hour time block (usually one week prior to the first rehearsal). You will read the sides and sing the numbers that were previously selected and shared with you. Please put forth your best effort toward every role you perform (not just the one you are hoping for), as we take the entire audition into consideration when casting.
  • In-Person Individual Audition times will be scheduled via an online Sign-Up Genius, available on all currently auditioning productions. Sign-ups will usually open 30 days prior to auditions and will be linked to on the production information page.
